The Arlington Memorial Bridge, as it's officially known, provides a ceremonial entrance to Washington DC from Virginia and links two important monuments, the Lincoln Memorial on the north side of the Potomac River, and the Arlington Robert E. Lee house on the south side (now part of Arlington National Cemetery).
